Helen M. Hoerth

Helen M. Hoerth, 90, of Van
Dyne died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St Agnes Hospital.  She was born on July 16, 1925, in the town of
Marshfield,
daughter of the late Alexander and Malania (Ditter) Guelig.

 

Helen attended Garfield School in St. Joe and also went to the
Catholic school in Mt Calvary.  She
married Norbert J. Hoerth and farmed for over 50 years in Van Dyne.

 

Helen was very compassionate to
all that she knew and met. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with the
relatives, telling stories of growing up and people she knew.

 

Helen is survived by former
husband, Norbert J. Hoerth, her seven children,  Norbert H (Kathy) Hoerth, Allen (Donna)
Hoerth, Gary Hoerth (special friend, Deb Schaefer), Linda Nelson, Janet Weber,
Judy (Steve) Hansen, and Mike (Wendy) Hoerth, 16 grandchildren and 9
great-grandchildren.  She is further
survived by her brothers and sisters: Harold (Mary) Guelig, Joe (Katie) Guelig,
Stella (Wilbur) Whitby,
Teresa Keifenheim, Esther Boehnlein, Elizabeth (Leander) Ebertz and Alexander
Jr. “Sonny” (Kathy) Guelig. 

 

Helen was preceded in death by her
parents, an infant sister, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, David
Keifenheim, David Boehnlein, Agnes and Helmuth Walz, Francis and Hildegard
Hoerth, Esther and Robert Schreiber and Hilda Barber Stults, one son-in-law,
Robert Weber, godson and nephew, Danny Keifenheim, nephews, Paul and Bernie
Guelig and step-granddaughter, Angela Christensen.  

 

Memorials can be made to St Mary’s Springs.

 

Visitation:
 Helen’s family will receive relatives and
friends on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Isidore, the Farmer, Holy Cross
Church, 308 S. County W, Mount Calvary from 1:00 to 3:45 PM. 

Services:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated
on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at St. Isidore, the Farmer, Holy Cross Church, following visitation, at 4:00 PM
with Fr. Gary Wegner, O.F.M. Cap. presiding. 
Private entombment will take place at Ledgeview Shrine of Rest Mausoleum
in Fond du Lac.
