James F. Marcoe

James “Jim” F. Marcoe, 86, formerly
of Rosendale and North Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on  Friday, December 23, 2016, at St. Agnes
Hospital.

 

He was born on February 23,
1930, in Fond du Lac, a son of Walter and Viola Dunn                    Marcoe.

 

On November 8, 1952, he
married LeMoine A. Gilbertson at St. John’s Church in Woodhull.

 

Jim had many jobs throughout
his life: farming with his father, livestock trucking, excavating, and he
worked at Oshkosh Truck and Brenner Tank.

 

Jim was a member of St.
Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac. 
He was a past board member of the Township of Eldorado.  He very much enjoyed his vegetable and flower
gardens, he had a green thumb.

 

He is survived by his wife,
LeMoine of 64 years; five children:  Jim
Jr. (Jean) Marcoe of Eldorado, Diane Becker of Van Dyne, Nancy (Mike) Pfeifer
of Fond du Lac, Jody (Tanya) Marcoe of Oakfield, and Julie (Darrell) Fohr of
Butternut, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren: 
Mike (Sheri) Becker, Sheila (Scott) Stettbacher, Greg (Steph) Becker, Brian
Becker, Erin (Justin) Bader, Tori (Mitchell) Pollesch, Samantha (Dave) Witt,
Jenna Marcoe, and Kylie Marcoe; four step-grandchildren:  Aaron, Krista, Brandon, and Jenna Anderson;
nine great-grandchildren, and one on the way. 
He is further survived by a sister, Gloria Langenfeld of Cedar Rapids,
Iowa; two sisters-in-law: Phyllis Jahns and Janet White; a brother-in-law,
Harold (Carol) Gilbertson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

He was preceded in death by
his parents; a brother, David Marcoe; his mother and father-in-law, Mabel and
Engman Gilbertson; a son-in-law, Dennis Becker; and sisters and
brothers-in-law:  James Langenfeld,
Howard Gilbertson, Jerry White, Melvin Jahns, Elaine (Walter) Hallwachs, and
Marjorie Gilbertson.

 

VISITATION:  The visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams
Avenue, North Fond du Lac.

 

SERVICE:  The funeral service will be held at 11:00
a.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Thomas Behnke and
Rev. Michael Kampman officiating.

 

Entombment will be in Shrine
of Rest Mausoleum at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
