Jeanette H. Hill

Jeanette H. Hill, 76, formerly
of Rosendale, and currently a resident of Woodlands Senior Park, Fond du Lac,
died Monday, March 9, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

 

She was born on February 26,
1939, in Milwaukee, a daughter of Norman T. Buetow and Nathalie M. Dodd
Krueger, who will be celebrating the momentous occasion of her 100th
birthday this coming June.

 

Jeanette graduated from
Rosendale Union Free High School in 1957. 
On November 10, 1958, she married Thomas Hill in Rosendale.  Together they resided in Rosendale their
entire married life.

 

She worked at Speed
Queen/Alliance for 32 years.  For several
years after her retirement, she was a hostess at Schreiner’s Restaurant in Fond
du Lac.  Jeanette was a member of United
Church of Christ, Rosendale.  She was a
long-time supporter of Al-Anon and The Gratitude Club.  What gave her the greatest joy was spending
time with her family, and most of all, her grandchildren.

 

She is survived by her
daughters:  Tammy (Bill) Wiese of
Rosendale, and Christine Pinch (Bob Fannin) of Pittsburgh, PA; her sons:  Charles (Robin) Hill of Fond du Lac, John
(Marcia) Hill of Oshkosh, Nathaniel (Rose) Hill of Fond du Lac, Jeff Hill of
Oceanside, CA; her grandchildren:  Nathan
(Angela), Travis, Kaitlyn Wiese, Christopher (Lindsey)  Kayla Pinch, Adam Hill, and Nataly Hill; her
“little ANGELS”, her great-grandchildren: 
Brody, Drew, and Mika Wiese.

 

She is further survived by
four sisters:  Barbara (Tom) Conroy,
Eileen Steffen, Sharon Morris, all of Fond du Lac, Mary Lou (Harvin) Miller of
Oshkosh; and her sister-in-law, Noel Buetow of Fond du Lac.

 

She was preceded in death by
her father; her husband; a sister, Grace Shafer; two brothers:  Kenneth and William Buetow;
brothers-in-law:  Charles Shafer, Dennis
Steffen, Richard Morris, and Robert Schwartz; her stepfather, Howard “Curly”
Krueger; a sister-in-law, Althea Hill Miller; and many beloved nieces and
nephews.

 

A memorial service will be
held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015, at United Church of Christ, 204
West Division Street, Rosendale, with Rev. Wesley Wassell officiating.

 

The family will greet
relatives and friends on Monday at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of
service.

 

Burial will follow in
Rosendale Cemetery.

floor staff at St. Agnes Hospital for their care, concerns, and the “coffee”.

 

We also want to thank our
Aunt Mary Lou, Uncle Harv, and Aunt Eileen for all their love and support in
our mother’s final days.
