Jeannine Marguerite Malson

 

Our loving
mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, Jeannine Marguerite Malson, 81, passed
away April 12, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born
November 20, 1933 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late David and Edna
Levasseur Cantin.

On August
28, 1954 she married Clarence Edward Malson at St. Jean the Baptiste Catholic
Church, Manchester, NH.

Jeannine
concentrated her energy and love raising her children. She later embarked on a
30 year career with St. Agnes Hospital, mostly serving as a unit clerk in the
ICU Department and retiring in 1997.  Following
her retirement she remained close with her co-workers through the St. Agnes
Nurses Retirement Group, enjoying lunches and socials. In 2004 the group
started a scrapbooking club which she remained active in for 10 years. Jeannine
was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Fond du Lac Senior Center, where she
was active in scrapbooking, and the Golden Years Travel Club, enjoying numerous
plays and shows. Jeannine was energetic, active and independent up until the
month before her passing, taking care of her own home, Bonnie the cat, and
enjoying retired life.

Survivors
include two sons, Russell E. (Cindy) Malson of Fond du Lac, and David M.
(Lorretta) Malson of Carbondale, PA, a daughter Christine A. (Jeffrey) Sasada
of Waupun, five grandsons, Sam and Dan Malson, David Malson, Timothy and Corey
Sasada, one great-granddaughter, Natalee Sasada. She is further survived by a
two sisters-in-law Jeanne Cantin and Agnes Malson, nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.

She was
preceded in death by her husband Clarence on December 13, 2006, a brother Roger
Cantin, a sister Stella “Sally” (Gaston “Gus”) Dewyngaert, and their son Daniel
Dewyngaert, brother-in-law, Walter Malson and sister-in-law, Barbara (Donald) Schultz.

Visitation: Visitation will be held at the
Zacherl Funeral Home on Wednesday April 15, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Visitation will also be held at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond
du Lac, on Thursday April 16, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:45 AM.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Thursday, 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at
St. Charles Cemetery.
