John S. Trepanier

John S. Trepanier, 60, of Fond
du Lac, died peacefully, Sunday, December 28, 2014, at home while watching the
Packer game with his family.

He was born on December 14,
1954, in Fond du Lac, a son of Robert and Delores Fink                   Trepanier.

John enjoyed an amazing childhood,
living and playing surrounded by his cousins in their own private
neighborhood.  His love of horses stemmed
from the ponies his grandfather raised.

His first job was at the
Stretch Restaurant, where he met his future wife, whom he spent the last 40 years.

His marketing degree landed
him a 33 year career with Roundy’s as a supervisor/merchandiser.  He truly appreciated the friendships he
developed there.

His sense of humor, and his
helpful and accommodating personality caused everyone who knew him to love him.

John was a dedicated Packer
fan from childhood, collecting autographs from players since the 1960’s
champions.  He could quote every detail
of every game.

But his supreme passion was
his love for his family.  The stress and
long hours of work were worth it to him to provide a comfortable life for them.

He is survived by his wife,
Lisa; four children:  Jessica (Steev)
Baker of Kewauskum, Nina (Jesse) Schmidt of Fond du Lac, Lindsey (Dale) DeVries
of Oshkosh, and Jonathan Trepanier (girlfriend, Molly Broderick); seven
grandchildren:  Samwise, Bronte, and Finn
Baker, Malachi, Ivan, and Violet Schmidt, and Eloise DeVries; his parents,
Robert and Delores Trepanier of Fond du Lac; and two brothers:  Robert “B.J.” Trepanier, Jr. of  Fond du Lac, and Jim (Mary) Trepanier of Van
Dyne.

A memorial gathering will be
held on Friday, January 9, 2015, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Whispering Springs Golf
Club, 380 Whispering Springs Drive, Fond du Lac, with a time of sharing to take
place at 6:00 p.m.

Cremation will take place
with private burial at Estabrooks Cemetery.

Memorial donations will be
graciously accepted by the family in lieu of flowers.
