Joseph M. Mastrocola

Joseph M. Mastrocola, 69, of Chilton, died on January 13, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born August 28, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI, son of Joseph and Theresa Ann Mastrocola. He was husband to Judith Mastrocola and together they raised five children.

Joe moved to Florida from Milwaukee as a young adult with his first two children. He became owner of Central Automotive and that is how he met Judith Deits and her three children. Judith was an accountant and Joe needed “help” with his books. Shortly after, they began dating. Around a year after that he told her, “We’re never going to be apart so let’s get married.” They tied the knot on September 5, 1986 in Coconut Creek, FL. They moved to Wisconsin in the late 90s to care for Judith’s father and soon bought the Thunderbird Motel in Chilton, which they owned for nearly 20 years.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Judith; his children: Mark (Wendy) Moore, Monica Moore, Joseph (Lourdes) Mastrocola, Matthew Moore, and Nancy (Greg) Mastrocola; seven grandchildren; a brother: Andrew Mastrocola; and a little fat doggy, Rosie.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Ann Mastrocola.

Funeral services are set for 4:00pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral on the day of the service from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
