Judith “Judy” A. Gantner

Judith “Judy” A. Gantner, 66,
of Fond du Lac,
met her Savior on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Hospice Home of Hope,
surrounded by her family.  

 

She was born on February 24,
1947, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Earl O. and Lorraine A.

(nee Roth)  Rolloff. 

 

Judy was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy
1965.  She worked for St. Agnes Hospital until her marriage on September 23,
1967, to Theodore W. Gantner, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran
Church, Fond du Lac.

 

Judy was a member of St.
Peter’s Ev. Lutheran
Church
and volunteered
for several years in the kitchen at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran School.  She worked for 28 years at Tucker’s
Restaurant. 

 

She enjoyed watching her
grandchildren’s sports, gardening, turkey hunting, and reading.

 

She is survived by her
husband of 46 years, Ted; two children: 
Michael (Sue) Gantner of Fond du Lac, and Michele (Brian) Sabel of
Oakfield; three grandchildren:  Alyssa,
Brianna, and Hunter Sabel;

two sisters-in-law:  Thelma (Ron) Giedel of Oakfield, and Tracie
(Don) Frey of Brownsville; her aunt and godmother, Gertrude Vetter of Medford;
an aunt, Lorraine LaRonge of Fond du Lac; her mother-in-law, Lorraine Gantner
of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, close friends, and relatives.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents, and her father-in-law, Herb Gantner.

 

The funeral service will be
held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 South Main Street, Fond du Lac,
with Rev. Michael J. Zuberbier officiating.  
Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Ledgeview Memorial Park.

 

The visitation will be on
Wednesday at church from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday at church from 9:30
a.m. until the time of service.

Agnesian Hospice Hope and St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.
