Kathleen Frances Majerus

Kathleen Frances Majerus, 84, of the Town of Eden went to her heavenly home Wed.
Jan. 29, 2014 at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport with her beloved family gathered
around her. She was born on May 29, 1929 in the Town of Forest the daughter of
Andrew Matthew and Catherine Margaret (nee Kramer) Wettstein. On April 18, 1953,
Kathleen married William G. Majerus at St. Michael’s Church in Dotyville. She
worked at the Bidlingmaier Funeral Home, Adrian Brothers Dry Cleaners, Kathy
Hass Catering Service, and the Eden Café. Kathleen was a member St. Mary’s
Catholic Church, Eden and now Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church. She was a
member of the Altar Society and for many years the head of the church chicken
dinners. She also was a member of the Ethan Allen Community Club. Kathleen
enjoyed working side by side with Bill on the farm. She loved working in her
garden and with her flowers. She got great enjoyment watching everything grow
and she loved hearing back from the stone pickers to hear how they loved the
meals she prepared. Kathleen had a strong faith and she loved her children,
grandchildren and great-granddaughter very much.

Those left behind to
cherish her memory include her son Howard (Patricia) Majerus of Fond du Lac, her
daughters Dianne Majerus, Eileen (David) Hahn and Betty Majerus all of the Town
of Eden, her grandchildren Lynn (Joe) Gleue of Belgium and Brian (Melissa) Hahn
of Cottage Grove, her great granddaughter Victoria, her brother Clem Wettstein
of Oakfield, her sister-in-law Irene Majerus of Fond du Lac, many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her
husband Bill on March 27, 1990, her parents, her sisters Alice (Ray) Braun,
Laura (Herb) Ebert and Deloris (Lawrence) Tonn, and her sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law Marion Wettstein, Art (Evie) Majerus, Catherine Iding (Art
Enfelt), (Harvey Iding), Dorothy (Roland) Comins, Donald (Donna) Majerus,
Cecilia (Gene) Wilhelms, John “Jack” Majerus, and Robert (Bernice) Majerus.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 31st from 3 to 8 PM at the
Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Saturday, Feb. 1st, at
Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Rd. B Eden, from 9 to 10:45
AM. A mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, Feb. 1st at
Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Wrobel officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Shrine of the Risen Christ Mausoleum at Calvary

The family extends a thank you to Dr. Brenda Grass, Dr. Joe Kemp, Dr.
John Choi, Dr. James Wright and Dr. Timothy Wells for their care and support.
Also a thank you to Father Chuck and Father Charlie for their visits and a
special thank you to Agnesian Hospice and Ivy Manor Assisted Living for making
her final days most comfortable.
