LaVerne Rauch

LaVerne Rauch, 84, formerly of St. Kilian, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 27, 2015, at the Samaritan Health Center, West Bend. She was born on February 16, 1931 in St. Lawrence, the daughter of the late Eugene and Leona (nee Kirsch) Beine. On Sept. 8, 1956 she married Donald A. Wiedmeyer at St. Lawrence Church. Donald preceded her in death in 1963. LaVerne married Eldon J. Rauch on January 16, 1966 at St. Kilian Church. Eldon preceded her in death in 1999. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, St. Kilian Chapel and formerly a member of St. Mary’s Ladies Sodality. In her younger years, LaVerne played the accordion and always enjoyed Polka music. She enjoyed playing cards, puzzles and most of all visits from family and friends.   Survivors include her sons; Gary (Ellen) Rauch of Allenton, Larry (Jackie) Rauch of Kewaskum, Terry (special friend Chris Brossard) of Campbellsport and Jerry (Jennifer) Rauch of Plymouth, 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. LaVerne is further survived by her brothers, Ralph (Mary) Beine, Norbert (Marion) Beine, Richard (Sue) Beine and Jerry (Millie) Beine, her sisters; Rosie (Jerry) Breuer, Rita Williams and Joan Wiedmeyer, many other relatives and friends.   Along with her husbands, LaVerne was preceded in death by her daughter Diane Ullrich and Diane’s husband Claude, and infant brother James.   Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 2nd, from 3:00 PM until time of mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St., Campbellsport.   Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Dec. 2nd at 7:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Rev. John Radetski will officiate and burial will be Thursday morning in St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford at 11:00 AM.   The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Ivy Manor in Jackson and the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend for the compassion, care and concern shown LaVerne in her final years.
