Lillian Ellingen

Lillian
Ellingen, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on
December 15, 2013 at St. Agnes Hospice Home of Hope.
She was
born August 20, 1929, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Kraintz.

After
graduating from West Allis Central High School, Lil worked for a time at
Milwaukee County Bank.  It was there that
she met some dear women who became lifelong friends. Lil gave up her banking
career to be a full-time mother and homemaker. Cooking, baking and entertaining
were always passions of Lil’s.  Lil was
an avid bridge player and enjoyed time spent playing the challenging game while
being with friends. Lil was a member of Holy Family Church.

On
August 15, 1953 Lil married the love of her life, Bob.  The two were high school sweethearts,
attending their prom together.
Lil is survived by her dear husband of over 60 years,
Bob. She was a devoted mother to her son Mark (Debbie) Ellingen of Fond du Lac;
her son Dave (Toni) Ellingen of Escondido, CA; her son Paul (Teresa) Ellingen
of Fort Wayne, IN; and her daughter Beth Ellingen (Steve
Hinker) of De Pere.   Lil will be
remembered with love by the grandchildren who were so dear to her:  Stacy Ellingen, Lindzee (Shonn) Gibson,
Stephanie Ellingen, Spencer Ellingen, Annie Hinker and Bobby Hinker and by one
great-grandchild, Jayce Gibson.

Also surviving are two sisters, Elsie
Hansen and Nancy Hilliard, as well as one sister-in-law, Jane Ellingen. Nieces,
nephews and many dear, devoted friends will remember Lil, also.  She was preceded in death by sisters Vicki
and Edith.

A private family service will be held at Holy
Family Church.  Memorials in Lil’s name
may be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.

Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and Crematory is
serving the family.
