Lloyd George Koepke

Lloyd George Koepke, age 88, of Malone passed away on Aug. 20, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. He was born in Elmore on Jan. 4, 1926 the son of Charles J. and Viola Scholl Koepke. Lloyd married Sharon Sass on September 2, 1961 at the United Church of Christ in Campbellsport with the Rev. Becker officiating. Lloyd was self-employed as a milk hauler for Burgert/Koepke Trucking in his younger years. Later he worked at the Kohler Company and retired in 1991. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed antique tractors and hit and miss engines. 



Survivors include his wife Sharon, two sons: Roger (Sandy Hauser) Koepke of Chilton and Richard Koepke of Malone, one daughter Tammy (Ken) Schabach of Chilton, three grandchildren: Johanna (Josh) Bechlam, Ryan Koepke and Lauren (Shaun) Schmidt, two great grandchildren: Sophia and Ella Jo Bechlam, three sisters: Lillian Burgert of Fond du Lac, and Gloria Serwe of Kewaskum, and Joan (Vernon) Buslaff of Campbellsport, one sister-in-law Gertrude Koepke of Cascade and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Kenneth (Betty), Edem, Gerald and Melvin (Maryann), one sister Margie (Elsworth) Prost-Radtke, and two brother-in-laws: Norbert Serwe and Louis Burgert. 



The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday August 25th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac, with burial to follow on Tuesday at the Rothmann Cemetery.
