Lorraine A. Flood

Lorraine A. Flood, 91, of Campbellsport, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the St. Francis Home.  She was born July 22, 1924 in Dotyville, the daughter of the late Anton and Odella (nee Engel) Goebel.  Lorraine was a 1942 graduate of St. Mary Springs Academy and then worked as a secretary in Fond du Lac.  On April 27, 1946 she married Thomas A. Flood at St. Michael’s Church, Dotyville.  The couple farmed in the Town of Eden prior to their retirement.  They raised their three children on the farm.  Lorraine was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Parish and the Christian Women’s Society.  She belonged to the Catholic Order of Foresters and had many card clubs.  She helped to organize the Campbellsport Scholarship Foundation and served on the Board for many years.  Lorraine also worked on the Town of Eden Election Board.  But spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is what Lorraine loved most.  Survivors include her 3 children; Thomas (Florence) Flood of Campbellsport, James (Judy) Flood of Fond du Lac and Ellen (Alan) Hall of Campbellsport, 11 grandchildren; Kristie Martin (fiancé Don), Kim (Mark) Chapin, Korie (Josh) Cadman, Katie (John) Borgen, Kelly (Kraig) Peterson, Jamie (Dave) Van Dixhorn, Sarah (Jason) Nelson, Teresa (Cary) Sabish, Heather (Ken) Nelson, Kevin Hall (fiancée Tiffany), Jacob Hall, 20 great-grandchildren; Carley, Anna and Eden Chapin, Kara Martin, Cooper and Sawyer Cadman, Elijah, Abe and Ike Borgen, David, Anna and Andrew Van Dixhorn, Ella and Kolton Nelson, Easton and Walker Sabish, Kylie and Jameson Hall, Caleb and Bella Nelson, three sisters; Bernadette Blatz, Kathleen (Pat) Dietzen, Alice Braatz, two brothers; Tony (Joyce) Goebel and James (Mary Ann) Goebel, sister-in-law Shirley Goebel, brother-in-law Thomas Scannell, many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters; Margie Johanski & Marcella (Sis) Scanne ll, two brothers; John and Eugene Goebel, brothers-in-law and sisters–in-law; Jerry Blatz, Herbert Dietzen, Edward Braatz Sr., Bob Liesendahl, Stanley Johanski, Thomas and Coletta O’Brien, Bill and Vivian Bauman and Mary Ann Goebel.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd from 3:00-7:00 pm at Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Thursday from 9:30 am until time of mass at Shepherd of the Hills Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden.  Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden.  Twohig Funeral Home is serving the family with online guestbook and condolences atwww.twohigfunerals.com.
