Lorraine C. Judziewicz

Lorraine Catherine (Grzonka) Judziewicz, 89, of New Holstein, died on March 23, 2018, at Field Of Dreams Assisted Living in Kiel, WI. She was born May 4, 1928, in Chicago, IL. She was daughter to the late Albert & Catherine (Rogella) Grzonka. 



Lorraine met her husband, Edmund Judziewicz, in high school. She was older than him and he jokes that she was a “cougar” and married him shortly after he graduated. The two married on August 9, 1952. Ed was drafted a few months later and Lorraine took a job at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.



Lorraine worked for many years doing clerical work for the government. She and Ed had a mink farm and then started a dairy farm near St. Anna. She had a soft spot for animals and became caretaker to raccoons, geese, cattle, cats, and dogs. During free time she volunteered at the Salvatorian Center in New Holstein and she was a member of the Women’s League at Hickory Hills Golf Course in Chilton.



Lorraine is survived by her husband, Ed; their children: Eddie (Ardyce) and Paul (Michele); and a brother-in-law: Art Tomczak.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Catherine Grzonka; and a sister: Betty Tomczak.
