Mary L. Vanderloop

Mary Louise Vanderloop passed
away on December 15, 2017 at the age of 53 at the Omro Care Center in Omro, WI.
She was born on January 30, 1964 to Gerhard “Jerry” and Beverly (Ollerman)
Miller.

 

Mary graduated from Winnebago
Lutheran Academy in 1981.

 

Since 1999, she owned and
operated Double Dutch Horse Ranch and Kennels. Mary performed in Wild West
reenactments throughout her adult life, most notably as Annie Oakley. She
taught horseback riding lessons to many students. Mary rode side saddle in the
Kentucky Derby parade many years and rode in the Great Circus parade countless
times.  She also performed at Midwest
Horse Fair numerous times. In 2000, she had the privilege of being a part of
the Rose Bowl parade. Mary also had a special place in her heart for Labradors,
raising many puppies for loving homes.

 

Mary enjoyed watching her son
participate in demolition derbies and was his biggest fan.

 

Mary is survived by her son
George Vanderloop, one brother Mark (Nancy) Miller and special friends Mike and
Sharon Bonslet.  Mary is preceded in
death by her infant daughter Abigal Rose and her parents.

 

Visitation: Mary’s family
invites relatives and friends to Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street,
Fond du Lac, for a time of visitation on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 4:30 to
6:00 PM. A celebration of Mary’s life will follow visitation at 6:00 PM.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations
