Michael David Dawson

Michael
David Dawson, 51, of Fond du Lac, after a long illness, passed away at St.
Agnes Hospital on Thursday, January 22, 2015. 
Michael was born in Milwaukee on August 7, 1963, a son of James P. and
Mary Ann (Gerdes) Dawson. 

On June 24,
1994 Mike married Nancy Lynn Miller at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church in
Woodhull. 

Mike was a
1981 graduate of Washington High School, Milwaukee.  He then was employed at Quad Graphics as a
pressman for 22 years.  He was later
employed with Interior Systems Inc. as a wood worker. 

Mike was a
sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.  He was an excellent carpenter as well and
also enjoyed restoring cars. 

He is
survived by Nancy, his wife of almost 21 years; one daughter, Andrea; two
siblings, Daniel (Jennifer) of Whitefish Bay and Carrie (John) Lavorini of
Villa Park, IL; parents, James and Mary Ann Dawson of Lac du Flambeau;
mother-in-law, Elaine M. Miller of Fond du Lac; brothers-in-law, Ronald
Schumacher, Jack Miller, Robert Miller and Roger Miller; sister-in-law, Susan
Denslow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Preceding
Mike in death are his son, Mitchell; brother, James Dawson Jr.; sister-in-law,
Rose Shaw; father-in-law, Jack Miller; grandparents Dietrich and Johanne Gerdes
and James and Irene Dawson. 

Visitation:  Mike’s family will receive relatives and friends at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters, Fond du Lac, on Tuesday, January 27, 2015
from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM.

Service: 
at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 27, at Sacred Heart Church, a Liturgy of
Christian Burial will be celebrated. 
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Fond du Lac.
