Patricia Anne Smith

Patricia
Anne Smith, age 66, passed away at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac on Thursday, May 28, 2015, after
succumbing to cancer.  She was born on
January 22, 1949 in Chicago,
IL to Ted and Irma (Klopf)
Matson. 

In 1971,
Patty married Carl Smith in Atlanta,
GA.  Patty graduated from the University of
Georgia State with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  In addition, she graduated from Atlanta’s Honeywell
Institute with an Associate’s degree in Computer Programming.  Before moving to WI, Patty worked over 10
years for NCR as a programming specialist and another three years for Wang
Laboratories.  For the past 15 years,
Patty was a support specialist for various agencies within St. Agnes Hospital. 

Patty was a
loving, creative, thoughtful person whose selflessness was apparent in all the
things she did for others. 

Patty is
survived by her loving husband, Carl; one daughter, Courtney (Noah); one
brother, William; one sister, Barbara (Daniel), three sisters-in-law, Robbie
(Joel), Cathy (Clark), Patty; and nieces,
nephews and many friends.  Patty was
preceded by her parents.

Visitation: The family will welcome relatives
and friends on Thursday, June 4^th at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 East Division St, Fond du Lac, from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM.

Service: A Memorial Service will take place
following visitation, at the funeral home, at 5:00 PM.  Cremation has taken place.

The family
would like to thank the Cancer Centers of St. Agnes and Froedtert Memorial
Hospital, and all of our
friends and family who have helped us through this difficult time.

In
lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patty’s name to the Agnesian Health
Care Foundation “Caring For You” Fund, 430 East Division St, Fond du Lac,
WI  54936.
