Patricia M. Ploeckelmann

Patricia M. (Klann) Ploeckelmann, 76, of Potter, died on May 30, 2018, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Chilton. She was born March 10, 1942, in Reedsville, daughter of Irvin and Laura (Copiskey) Klann.

In November of 1962 Patricia met Earl Ploeckelmann at his cousin’s wedding. Earl was quick to make a date with her right away. Earl had to pay attention and concentrate getting to her house because she lived out in the middle of nowhere. His efforts paid off – within two months he had proposed to Patricia. They were married November 30, 1963 and had reached 54 years of marriage at the time of her passing.

Patricia raised her children and ran the household most of her life. She liked getting outside in the nice weather to do her gardening, while indoors she was known for her embroidery work and she enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. Patricia was also a charter member of the Eagles Auxiliary Club in Chilton. Above all, Pat’s favorite times were those spent with her grandkids and visiting friends.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Earl; her children: Gale (Anthony) Gerharz and Guy (Tracy) Ploeckelmann; her grandchildren: Elizabeth “Liz”, Christina, and Meredith Gerharz, Brett Ploeckelmann, David and Zack Jackson; her sisters: Jacquelyn (Jim) Klimaszewski, Penny (Morey) Weiss, Pamela (Richard) Niehauzer, and Linda (Todd) Reschke; her brothers: Mike Klann, Dan (Marybeth) Klann, and Ernie (Anita) Klann; and her special friend: Bernice Ninedorf.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Laura Klann, and her baby brother, Harold Klann.

Friends may call from 9:00am until 11:00am on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ (44 W. Washington St.) of Chilton. There will be a private service for the family.
