Richard D. Carey III

Richard D. Carey III, 73, of Eden went to his heavenly home on Friday, April 1, 2016 at his home with his beloved family gathered around him. He was born in West Allis on January 13, 1943, the son of Richard D. and Irene (Kwiatkowski) Carey,II. On January 14, 1967, he married Rose Mary Immel at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee where they continue to be members. Rick worked for the U. S. Department of the Interior in Wyoming prior to his marriage and at Gehl Company in West Bend for 43 years. In retirement he drove school bus for the Johnson Bus Company. Rick enjoyed camping, golfing, fishing, cars and his TV shows, especially NCIS. He was a great Packer and Badger fan and he loved to be out in nature observing God’s wonders. Rick was a “people person” with many friends and always adding new ones.  




 




Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife Rose Mary, his children Kevin (Shellie) Carey, Kelly (David) Brzezinski, Rick (Lisa) Carey, Kimberly Carey and Keith (Tiffany) Carey, Kevin and Shellie’s children: Kevin Jr., Brenda, Robin, Alex and Zach; Kelly and David’s children: Shawn, Josh, Cory and Tyler; Rick & Lisa’s children: Paige and Trent; Kimberly’s daughter, Sierra and Keith & Tiffany’s children: Makayla and Connor. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren, Natasha, Nadia and Avery, his brothers Donald (Kathleen) Carey and David (Evelyn) Carey, his faithful companions Ratchet, Digger and Ironhide, other relatives and friends.




 




He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Doris, his great-grandchild Georgia, his mother-in-law Mabel Immel and his special pets Duke & Champ.




 




Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5th from 3 to 7 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport and on Wednesday, April 6th from 10AM until time of services at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee (W494 Elm St. Campbellsport). In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.




 




Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 6th at 11:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church Dundee. Rev. Robert Oberg will officiate and entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park Fond du Lac.
