Richard J. Zoelle

Richard J. Zoelle,
73, of Brownsville, died Thursday, October 9, 2014 as a result of an automobile
accident.  He was born February 4, 1941
in Madison, the son of Jerome and Marion Zoelle.  He was a graduate of Goodrich High School,
Class of 1959.  On April 28, 1962 he
married Jacqueline K. Kleveno at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fond du Lac and she
preceded him in death on November 9, 2006. 
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served with the Wisconsin Red
Arrow Division during the Berlin Crisis. 
He was a journeyman machinist and worked at Giddings and Lewis, A.O.
Smith of Milwaukee, Oshkosh Truck, Mercury Marine, Journey Machinist Company of
Fond du Lac, and was currently working for Lomira Auto Auction.  Richard was a member of Fond du Lac Eagles
Aerie #270, Van Dyne Sportsman Club, Fond du Lac Corvette Club, Brownsville
Sportsman Club, and Lomira American Legion Post #347.  He had a lifelong passion for hunting and
fishing. 

 

He is survived by
his daughter, Deborah Smith, Fairbanks, AK; his son, Douglas (Sue) Zoelle, Fond
du Lac; three grandchildren, Vincent, Beth Rose, and Michael; three brothers,
Thomas (Sue) Zoelle, Waverly, IA, John (Ronde) Zoelle, Fond du Lac, and Robert
(Cathy) Zoelle, Fond du Lac.  He was
preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jacqueline.

 

VISITATION: The
visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 18, 2014
at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL The funeral service will be held at 12
noon on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the traditional
services.
