Roseanne V. Preissner

Roseanne V. Preissner, age 66, of Malone, died on Saturday, April 4, 2015 following a short battle with brain cancer at Villa Loretto in Mt. Calvary. She was born August 23, 1948 in Malone, daughter of the late Claude & Stella (Gilles) Schaefer. Roseanne married Robert Preissner on April 26, 1969 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho. She worked for 36 years at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein and later worked seven years at Walmart in Chilton. Roseanne treasured and lived her life with great joy. She looked forward to time spent with her family, especially treasured moments with her grandchildren. She and Bob valued trips together both near and far including two trips to the Super Bowl. In her free time, Roseanne loved gardening and tending to her flowers, but was most passionate for her beloved Green Bay Packers. With Green & Gold coursing through her veins, Roseanne fervently cheered the Pack every Sunday afternoon. With a smiling face and a desire to help those around her, Roseanne will be fondly remembered by those who loved her as a deeply caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Survivors include her husband and grade school sweetheart: Bob; children: Christopher (Roxanne) Preissner, Kelly (Rick Jr.) Groeschl, 7 grandchildren: Mat Armstrong, Gregg Fagg, Alex Preissner, Courtney Preissner, Morgan Groeschl, Lucas Groeschl, & Ty Groeschl; and a sister: Donna (Rich) Kiesner. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roseanne was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws: Alvina & Frank Preissner; and a sister-in-law: Arlene Preissner. She was further preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main St.) in Chilton with the Rev. Ryan Krueger officiating. Entombment will be in the Calvary Mausoleum in Fond du Lac. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 and on Thursday at the church from 9:30 am until 11:15 am. A Parish Vigil Service will take place Wednesday evening at the funeral home at 8:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Roseanne V. Preissner.
