Roy Arthur Lenhardt

Roy Arthur Lenhardt, Sr. age 89, of Fond du Lac died on
Saturday April 13, 2013 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. He was born on April
21, 1923 in Two Rivers the son of the late Arthur and Leona Glandt Lenhardt. He
graduated in 1941 from Two Rivers High School. Roy served in the Army enlisting
in 1943and then the Army Reserve for a total of 27 years, retiring as a Lt.
Colonel. Roy married Luella Lesperance on October 3, 1942 at St. Mark’s
parsonage in Two Rivers. He loved helping people and completing projects. Roy
was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac and the
Bintzler Waehler American Legion Post#347 in Lomira. Roy is survived by his wife
Luella of 70 years, 2 sons: Lawrence (Marilyn) Lenhardt of Sheboygan and Roy
Jr.(Sherry) Lenhardt of Brownsville, and one daughter Cheryl (James) Hankwitz of
Milwaukee, 7 grandchildren: Michael (Kimberly) and Jeff (Joan) Lenhardt, Brian
(Dawn) Hankwitz, Dawn (Bruce Krapovicky) Hankwitz, Kimberly (Charles) Schur,
Wendy (Travis) Gensch and Susan Laux, 5 great grandchildren: Addison Gensch,
Carson and Tyler James Schur, Kodi and Cheyenne Lenhardt, and many other
relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents one sister
Phyllis Schaefer.

Memorial services will be held on Monday April 22th at 10:00 AM at the Twohig
Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM
until the time of services at the funeral home with private committal and
military honors to follow at the Southern Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery in Union
Grove. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Bintzler Waehler American
