Scott Allan Courtney

Scott
Allan Courtney went to be with his Lord on March 5th, surrounded by
his loving family. He had a short illness of cancer.

 

He was
born September 19, 1953 to Harold and Virginia Courtney. Scott graduated from Goodrich High School in 1972.

 

On May 27,
1978 he married his dear wife, Karen Deitte Courtney. Together they shared a
pure love for each other.

 

They are
blessed with four loving children who cherish many dear and treasured memories.

Sean Allan of Nashville, TN,
Bryan Patrick of Madison, WI,
Erin Frances (Matthew) Boelhower of Woodstock, IL and Sarah Kaye of Santiago, Chile.

 

Scott was
employed by Anheuser Bush, Butternut Bread, WI Bandag and Schwans. He loved
reading, shared many sports with his family, took pride in his vehicles,
and was a devoted Packer and Badger fan. He shared many special moments
with his Scottish terrier dog, “Sir Mick”.

 

He is
survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, his four loving children, one
son-in-law, brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Susie Leonard, Mike and Linda
Sklena, Mike and Rita Shannon, Tom and Cathy Deitte, Richard and Katy Deitte,
Tim and Annie Koll, and Gary
and Deanna Deitte. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and
cousins.

 

He was
preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law Ken and Rose Deitte, and
brother-in-law Mark Deitte.

  

Visitation:
Family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 4:00 PM to
7:00 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875
E. Division Street
in Fond du Lac. Visitation will also be Monday, March
9, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Holy
Family Church,
271 Fourth Street
Way in Fond du Lac.

 

Services: A
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM
at Holy Family Church,
Holy Family Parish. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

 

A
memorable will be established.

 

The family
would like to express thanks to Agnesian hospice, especially Jeff for his
gentle care and Kristy for her compassionate guidance.
