Sister Kathleen Wilson, SHN

Sister Kathleen Marie Wilson was born July 16, 1924 in Morristown, New Jersey, but was raised in Chicago, Illinois by her grandmother. She passed away on September 24, 2016 at Kindred Hearts Nursing Home in Green Lake, Wisconsin.

Before joining the Sisters of the Holy Nativity in Fond du Lac, WI, Sister Kathleen Marie was Life Professed in the Order of St. Anne in Chicago, Illinois on September 29, 1980.

Sister Kathleen Marie was a postal clerk, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law before she was called to the Religious Life to be a Nun.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Wilson, Sr. and two sons, Russell Wilson, Jr. and Michael Wilson.

Sister Kathleen Marie leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Karen A. King (Episcopal Priest – stationed in Africa); granddaughter, Evelyn (Kelly) Mapp; grandson, Lawrence Wilson and several other relatives.

Visitation: Sister Kathleen Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 217 Houston Street, Ripon, Wisconsin.

Service:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Sister Kathleen Marie at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM, following visitation. Interment will be in Rienzi Cemetery, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Memorials in Sister’s name may be directed to the Sisterhood of the Holy 

Nativity.
