Stacy Jost

Stacy Jost (nee Fendryk), 38, of Cleveland, WI was called home on January 31, 2015 after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. Stacy was born April 1, 1976 in Marinette, WI. She grew up in Mukwonago, WI and graduated from Mukwonago High School and attended Waukesha County Technical College. On October 14, 2006 she married Christopher Jost and relocated to Cleveland, WI where she continued to reside with her husband and three-year old son, Cooper.

Stacy was one-in-a-million, people were always drawn to her beautiful smile and contagious laugh. She truly enjoyed living life and lived by the motto “don’t worry about the things you cannot change.” She looked for the bright side in everything and just being in her presence made your day better. She was everyone’s confidant, event planner and personal stylist whenever you needed her.

Stacy loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was the keeper of memories and every moment was an occasion for a photo shoot. She loved spending summers up-north at the cabin and planning parties for the people she loved. She was forever focused on her husband and son who meant the world to her. She loved change and was constantly looking for the next remodel project or scoping out fun and exciting activities for Cooper, it never mattered how dirty he got as long as there was a smile on his face all was good in the world. Even amidst the most difficult leg of her battle she took a family vacation to Disneyland. Nothing came before her family and according to Cooper she was the best snuggler in the world.

Stacy will truly be missed. She was a fighter until the end and an inspiration to us all. Our everyday lives will forever be changed and summer’s at Chute Pond will never be the same but if there is one last message that we can give on her behalf it would be; Dear Cancer, despite everything you threw at her she continued to live life to the fullest. As great as the pain of losing her is, it is only a pebble in comparison the mountain of joy she brought to our lives. You may have taken her body but the world has gained a beautiful angel and for that you lost!

In addition to her husband and son, Stacy is survived by her parents Frances (Podolski) and Mike Fendryk, siblings Tom (Jenna) Fendryk, Randy Fendryk, Rose (Brad) Baranek, Steven Fendryk and Tim Pace. Mother-in-Law Kathleen Jost and sisters-in-law Rebecca and Sarah Jost. Nieces and Nephews; Cole Fendryk, Brooklyn Rose Baranek and Owen Jost. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (8100 Brunner Rd) in Newton. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 and on Thursday at the church from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. A vigil service will take place at the conclusion of the visitation time on Wednesday evening.
