Susan J. Williams
Susan J. Williams, 88, of Lamartine
and
died Friday, May 6, 2016, at St. Francis Terrace.
She was born on February 12,
1928, at the Williams’ farm in Rogersville, the daughter of Chester A. and
Jennie Pinkerton Williams.
Susan graduated from
in 1945, and then worked at the
du Lac
1998, as an advertising salesperson. She
enjoyed her work there and made many longtime friends.
She was an active member of
later merging with
Sue was a 50 year plus member of Soroptimist International of Fond du
Lac, a member and volunteer at Galloway House and Village, and a member of the
Rosendale Historical Society. Cross
stitching and golf were her pastimes.
Survivors include two
brothers: Donald of Concord, Massachusetts,
and Robert of Ames, Iowa; a nephew, Dennis (Diane) Williams of Foxboro, MA;
nieces: Christine Williams (John Rother)
of Bethesda, MD, Rev. Roberta Williams of Wellfleet, Cape Cod, MA, Faith
Williams (David Holliday) of Dublin, OH, Jeannine (Rick) Massengale of Newnan,
GA, and Nancy (Gus) Brinkman of Rolfe, IA; 17 great-nieces and nephews; many great-great
nieces and nephews; and many cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by
her parents; a sister, Helen; a brother, Chet; three sisters-in-law:
and Pauline; a nephew, David Williams, and his wife, Sue; a nephew, Steven
Thomas Williams, uncles and aunts.
SERVICE: The funeral service
will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at
Beaton and Rev. Roberta Williams officiating.
VISITATION: The visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel & Crematory,
9:30 a.m. until the time of service.

may be directed to
American Cancer Society, or the charity of one’s choice.
