11 More Cases Of COVID-19 In County; Over 17,000 Tests In WI Tuesday

Almost a dozen more cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in FDL County on Tuesday, bringing the county total now to 586. The Active Cases also jumped, now standing at 117. The number of recovered cases inched up slightly to 463, with now 6 people hospitalized as a result of contracting the cornoavirus. 


Covid-19 is now confirmed to have infected more than 50-thousand Wisconsites. Department of Health Services Deputy Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk delivered Tuesday’s statewide numbers.


“There are now 56,056 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of 728 people since yesterday. And we mourn the loss of 961 people who have left us, an increase of 12 of our fellow neighbors and friends who have left us since yesterday.” Those 728 cases out of more than 17-thousand tests represent a positive test rate of 4 percent. Also, the seven day average of 840 new cases per day is down from 863 a week ago.
