209 Negative COVID-19 Tests Reported Friday, 69 Positive In FDL County

Fond du Lac County has now seen seven straight weeks of triple digit numbers of confirmed cases of COVID-19. Sixty nine cases were reported on Friday, putting the county close to two hundred cases processed for the week, and now 1,651 confirmed tests in the county. There are now 567 active cases, with another 1,071 recovered cases. There are also 14 people hospitalized due to coronavirus. The 20-29 year old age group continues to rack up the positive tests, now with 356. The 30-39 year old age group sits at 257, There was also one additional death reported in the county on Friday, due to COVID-19, raising the total since the pandemic started to 13.  

For the second straight day, Wisconsin reported the highest number of COVID-19 positive tests since March. The Department of Health Services said 13,067 tests were processed, with 2,533, or 19.4%, came back positive. That’s almost 500 more that the previous record set just the day before. the seven-day average of daily reported positive cases rose to 1,576 which is up from 985 a week ago.
