275 Positive COVID Cases Thursday In FDL County

Remember not so many weeks ago, when we thought 200 positive COVID-19 cases in the county in a week was hard to believe? Thursday saw 275 positive cases, leaving Fond du Lac County just shy of 7,000 confirmed cases since March. The county also added an additional death, with the county now standing at 32 deaths associated with the virus.

There were almost 300 negative tests processed on Thursday, with 167 more cases listed as “Recovered”. Total active cases in the county rose by 107, with the county total now at 1,912. Another record-setting day in the state on Thursday, and not in a good way. Almost 23,000 tests were processed, with almost 15,000 coming back negative. Almost 7,500 returned positive, putting the state total over 293,000. Hospitalizations continue to rise, with another 264 admitted. There are now almost 14,000 people across the state in the hospital. Wisconsin also reported 58 more deaths.
