60th-Annual Noon Kiwanis Pancake Day is Today

It’s the 60th annual “Pancake Day” with the Fond
du Lac Noon Kiwanis today. The community is invited to come out today to enjoy pancakes
and help out several community groups and programs in the process. Stephanie
Albers is the chair of this year’s event, and she tells us that all the money raised
from Pancake Day stays local. “We serve different youth programs, and one of
the biggest programs we are a supporter of is the YMCA ‘Learn to Swim’ program,”
Albers said. “We support Big Brothers-Big Sisters, the Boys & Girls Club,
among many other child-oriented services and groups in our local community.”

Pancake Day takes place from 6:30 AM until 6:30 PM at the
American Legion Hall on Fond du Lac Avenue in Fond du Lac. Tickets are $7 for
adults, children ages 4-to-8 are $3 and kids age three and under are free. The
meal includes all-you-can-eat pancakes along with sausage, applesauce, milk and
coffee. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
