61 New COVID-19 Cases Since Friday In FDL County, State Records Highest 1-Day Positive Cases

Fond du Lac County has reported 61 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, bringing the county total to 1,303 total COVID-19 cases. Fond du Lac County is also sitting at 19,999 negative tests processed. There are now 368 active cases, 923 recovered cases, and 12 people hospitalized as a result of the coronavirus.

A low number of daily COVID-19 tests came back in Wisconsin on Tuesday, but a record number of those tests came back positive. In fact, 17.56% of them came back positive. That’s 4,083 new tests and 717 positive results. You’d have to go all the way back to March 29 when 1,112 tests were processed and 123 of those tests came back positive, with a positive percentage of 16.47%.
