Evers Shatters Fundraising Records

Today, It was announced Monday (7/11/2022) that Governor Tony Evers has raised $10.1 million during the first six months of 2022 — shattering fundraising records and highlighting that Wisconsinites appear to be ready to re-elect Gov. Evers this November.

“From his time as a public school science teacher to now as governor, Tony Evers has worked to bring people together and do the right thing for Wisconsin,” said Tony for Wisconsin Campaign Manager Cassi Fenili. “Whether it’s helping small businesses, protecting access to abortion, fixing thousands of miles of roads and bridges, or investing in our public schools, Governor Evers is leading with respect, compassion, and fairness. Wisconsinites want common sense solutions to the issues facing our state, and our record-breaking fundraising report shows the overwhelming grassroots support Governor Evers has earned.”

Gov. Evers received over 60,000 contributions from over 32,000 donors in the first six months of 2022, including donors from all 72 counties. Gov. Evers will report having $7.6 million cash on hand.

Since January 2021, Gov. Evers has raised more than $20 million — the most of any prior gubernatorial candidate at this point in the cycle. Gov. Evers’ record-breaking $10 million raised is nearly double what Scott Walker raised during the first half of 2018.

Since announcing his re-election campaign last year, Gov. Evers has continued to expand his team, communicate with voters, and invest in crucial grassroots organizing that’s connecting with voters in every corner of the state.
