A record $93,000,000 spent in Governor’s race

$93,000,000. That’s what was spent on the recently completed Governor’s race in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, a watchdog group, says that was a record level of spending in the race between Scott Walker and Tony Evers. Nearly 58-million was spent by Republican candidates and their special interest groups and over 35-million was spent by democrats.  Former Governor Walker dropped over 36-million-dollars on his campaign, which was more than three times what was spent by Governor Tony Evers and his running mate Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes.
