Adams has No Plan to Play for Green Bay on Tag

With Rodgers in the fold, the Packers must shift their focus to Adams. The All-Pro Wide Receiver informed the team he wouldn’t play on the franchise tag. Adams will make a little over $20 million next season, but he wants a new long term deal. Adams and the Packers have until July 15 to reach a contract extension or the receiver will enter 2022 on the one year deal. Adams can sit out minicamp, training camp or any other team workouts until he signs the tender.
