Agnesian HealthCare Supports Local Food Pantries With Turkey Donations

Agnesian HealthCare leaders were busy the week of November 9 showing their appreciation to associates and providers at all its locations with the giving of turkeys in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

“We’re so grateful for everything that our associates and providers do for our ministry, as well as for the patients, residents and families that we serve that we wanted in some small way to show our appreciation,” says Steve Little, Agnesian HealthCare president and chief executive officer. “It gave us a time to connect with the people that make Agnesian HealthCare what it is today and every day.”

However, their giving went beyond that. Local food pantries also benefited from the donation of 238 turkeys, representing a $3,800 donation.

The following organizations received donated turkeys, including Waupun Food Pantry, Ripon Food Pantry, Grace Christian Church/Ruby’s Pantry, Lighthouse Christian Church Pantry, Fond du Lac Pantry/Broken Bread, The Salvation Army, and Agnesian HealthCare Adult Day Services families.
