Agnesian Love Light Campaign Raises Over $14,000

Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Love Light campaign concludes successful year, raising over $14,000 to support the Treffert Center. The Treffert Center, which includes Agnesian Beyond Boundaries of Autism (ABBA), the Treffert Academy, the Treffert Library/Savant Center and Treffert Clinic, is working to share knowledge on neuro-diversity (autistic spectrum disorders) and what it means for our community.

Darold Treffert, MD, and Matt Doll, PhD, Behavioral Health Services/Autism director, served as the 2019 Love Light co-chairpersons. “Many individuals feel a great sense of loss during the holiday season; this is directly attributed to feeling different from others, and at the Treffert Center we recognize that,” according to Dr. Treffert. “My continuous hope and wish for the Treffert Center is that we can provide happiness, hope, support and guidance not only to our children but to our community as well.”

The Treffert Center was founded in 2016 and is the only savant institute in the world. They have served more than 1,000 people and their families and their services currently span 20 counties in Wisconsin and growing!

Love Lights proceeds will benefit current and future programs and equipment needed by the Treffert Center to continue expanding their level of care.
