Agnesian Welcomes New Anesthesiologist

Agnesian HealthCare welcomes anesthesiologist Ilya Khotimsky, MD, to St. Agnes Hospital, 430 E. Division Street.

An anesthesiologist offers preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care for patients in the administration of medications to control pain and support life functions during surgery.

“I treat my patients as I would treat a loved one or family member,” says Dr. Khotimsky. “I practice evidence-based medicine, which means I use the current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients.

A graduate of the Samara State Medical University in Samara, Russia, Dr. Khotimsky completed his anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has a fellowship in critical care anesthesiology from Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Khotimsky is board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and advanced perioperative TEE-Testamur by the National Board of Echocardiography.

“I am excited to provide the best anesthesiology care for patients in this community,” he says. “We have a diverse patient population that can benefit from a variety of surgical procedures.”

Dr. Khotimsky has relocated to Fond du Lac with his wife, Jennifer, and their 16-month-old son. He enjoys spending time traveling, playing soccer, skiing, weight lifting and working out.
