Alleged Campbellsport Drug Ring Leader Waives Preliminary Hearing

The alleged ringleader of a heroin and oxycodone trafficking operation allegedly based out of a Campbellsport home waived her right to a preliminary hearing in Washington County Court this week. Fifty-seven-year-old Lori Merget is charged with four drug distribution-related felonies. She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on June 7th. She remains in the Washington County jail under a $50,000 cash bond. Eight people have been charged in connection with the alleged drug ring including Merget’s 31-year-old son William Merget.
