Amazing Race in Downtown FDL

The Amazing Race is coming to Downtown Fond du Lac Thursday. The Young Professionals group is putting on the competition – which brings teams to a variety of local businesses to take part in a series of challenges. 

Sarah Dowidat with Envision Greater Fond du Lac says it’s a great way to get out with a group of friends and familiarize yourself with the community. She tells us “what’s really neat is that it gives exposure to people in our community and businesses that they may not enter on a daily basis. You know, it tests their knowledge of the community and where things are located and the fastest route to get there. It’s just a really great, fun competition”.

There will be both running and walking teams participating in the event, which runs from 5 until 8 tonight.
