American Bank Acquiring InvestorsBank

Fond du Lac based American Bank has acquired Waukesha’s InvestorsBank. American Bank has assets in excess of $1.5 billion. InvestorsBank will operate under the American Bank name after the acquisition wins regulatory approval, expected later this year. The combined entity will have assets in excess of $450,000,000.  Senior management teams at both banks have coordinated a transition plan that preserves each bank’s level of quality customer service, with no expected impact on current employees.  “We plan for things to be business-as-usual for the customers and staff of both banks,” says Jim Chatterton, president of American Bank.
