Apartment Fire Near Waupun Displaces Twelve

Twelve people were displaced by a fire at the Wish U Well Inn outside of Waupun Tuesday afternoon. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say fire damaged one apartment in the complex at N2919 South Frontage Road and there was smoke damage to a second apartment. No one was in the apartment where the blaze began. The Red Cross is assisting displaced residents. The cause of the fire is being determined. Waupun Country Fire was assisted at the scene by Alto and Brandon/Fairwater Fire Departments. The fire call was a 12:27 p.m.
