Appleton Man Facing Charges Stemming From Fatal FDL County Accident

Samuel Coppersmith had been convicted of Operating While Intoxicated back in 2017. Now, a little over three years later, he is facing almost a dozen charges as a result of a July 19th accident on I-41 in Fond du Lac County. Coppersmith was the alleged driver of an SUV that rolled over numerous times, killing two passengers and injuring two more. Bond for Coppersmith has been set at $150,000, with a preliminary hearing now set for August 7. Killed in the crash was forty-nine-year-old Nana Yaw Yeboah and twenty two-year-old Malik Bridges. 2 other passengers in the vehicle, 19-year-old Tiarah Stewart and 26-year-old Deandre Love, along with Coppersmith, were taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah following the accident.
