Application Process, Campus Services Details Still the Same for FDL Campus

While the names may have changed slightly, the way prospective
students apply to attend UW-Oshkosh, or its two “access” campuses in Fond du
Lac or the Fox Cities is still very simple. UW-Oshkosh Assistant Chancellor for
Access Campuses Martin Rudd says all three campuses are under one application. “We
are a single university, and we’ve been a single university for more than a
year now, and as a result we have a single admission and application process,”
Rudd said. “All students are accepted to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh,
you can be accepted to the Fond du Lac campus, the Fox Cities campus, or –
depending on how your application materials are – you can be accepted to the
Oshkosh campus as well.” Students are still able to transfer from the “access”
campuses to other four-year institutions outside of UW-Oshkosh.

Rudd adds that despite all of the changes in the last year,
the Fond du Lac campus is also still offering students the ability to stop by
and get the services you need. “You can stop in and talk, get all the
information that you need, because our access campuses remain service campuses
with real people to talk with and where you can get real help,” Rudd said.
