Armed Robbery In Brownsville

Dodge County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a 17-year-old Brownsville boy in connection with the Brownsville BP gas station robbery. He was arrested at his residence in the village this morning. When he was at the BP he was wearing a ski mask and when a clerk asked for ID while he was buying a carton of cigarettes implied he had a pistol in his waistband. He fled the store on foot with the carton of cigarettes. He’s expected to go before a judge Wednesday.

Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say they are looking for a man who fled from the BP Gas Station in Brownsville after he stole a carton of cigarettes while implying he had a gun. It happened shortly after 10 a.m. Monday. A clerk at the store said the suspect was wearing a ski mask and said he had a pistol in his waistband. The clerk did not see the weapon. He fled on foot with a carton of cigarettes. He was described as being a juvenile or young adult, 14 to 17 years of age. He is 5 foot 2 to 5 foot 5 inches tall with a slender build weighing 120 to 140 pounds. He was dressed in a dark colored sweatshirt with a star emblem on the left front and was wearing a tan ski mask. He was carrying a green, camouflage backpack.
