Arrests Made in Connection to Series of Robberies in Oshkosh

Four male teenagers linked
to a series of robberies in Oshkosh have been arrested. Oshkosh Police
announced Thursday that two 16-year-olds, a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old are
all facing robbery charges. Police are still investigating the incidents which
happened between October 19th and November 2nd in the residential
area surrounding the UW-Oshkosh campus.

In two of the incidents,
police say the victims were messaging a stranger on a dating app to determine a
spot to meet. Once they arrived, the victims were approached by a group of
teenagers who assaulted and robbed them. Other cases found victims were walking
alone in a residential area, when they were approached by teenagers who
assaulted and robbed them.

Police are encouraging
people to walk in groups when out at night, stay in lighted public areas and to
be aware of their surroundings at all times.
