Attorney For Vos, Blazel Says They’re Not To Blame

An attorney reperesenting Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Assembly Clerk Ted Blazel in an open records lawsuit says the two are not responsible for records generated in a partisan probe of Wisconsin’s 2020 election.

“I continue to object, when petitioner brings motions that label Mr. Vos and Mr. Blazel as being responsible for something that they’re not.”

Dane County Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn didn’t buy that argument from attorney Ronald Stadler. She ordered that records from the investigation headed by former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman not be destroyed.

That comes just two weeks after another Dane County judge issued a similar order in a second open records lawsuit by the liberal group American Oversight.
