“Back To School Fond du Lac” Looking For School Supplies

It seems hard to think about going back to school, but now is the time to think about supplies. And not just for your kids or grandkids.

The Back to School FDL team has started to ramp up their school supply
collections. Their goal is to ensure that local students needing assistance will get the school supplies they need to start school in the fall. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Back to School FDL anticipates an increased need for school supplies this year.

Back to School FDL is asking for the community’s help in either donating school supplies or donating funds that they can use to purchase school supplies. Those seeking to donate school supplies, can view a list of needed items at www.backtoschoolfdl.org. Individuals are invited to
drop off their donated supplies at The Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or at the many businesses, local agencies and religious organizations who are conducting supply drives over the summer.

In order to allow volunteers time to sort supplies, you are asked that you please consider dropping off all school supply donations before August 13, 2021. If you or someone you know needs assistance with school supplies, registration for Back to School FDL will be online from July 9 through August 1, 2021. Registration is required. The registration form will be activated and posted at www.backtoschoolfdl.org.

The Back to School FDL school supply distribution date is set for Saturday, August 21, 2021, and you must be available to pick up your child’s supplies on this date. Back to School FDL is a collaboration of local agencies, businesses, religious organizations and community members.
