Badger Boys State Marches On

The 77^th annual Badger Boys State is being held in Ripon this week. The week-long program brings together hundreds of high school seniors from across the state. Participants develop their own party platforms, pass local ordinances, and use a judicial system to enforce the laws and constitution of their own created state. The also take a series of classes, including law, leadership, and public speaking. Highlights of this year’s session will bring in guest speakers like State Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley and Charles Wiley of the National Press Corps.
