Badgers Remain Outside Top 25 Polls This Week, Marquette Continues to Climb

The Wisconsin Badgers remain unranked in both national polls this week despite handing Michigan their first loss of the year Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center. The Badgers picked up 27 votes in the coaches poll, and 64 votes in the AP Top 25 to finish just outside of the poll. Marquette jumped up in both sets of rankings this week. The Golden Eagles went up two to number 11 in the coaches poll, and three spots to number 12 in the media poll. Tennessee is the new number one team in the country in the AP Poll, with Duke at number two, Virginia at number three, Gonzaga at four and Michigan dropping down to number five. Michigan State, Nevada, Kentucky, Kansas and Virginia Tech round out the top 10 this week.
