BBBS And Casa del Tequila Team Up

Looking for fantastic food and beverage while at the same time making a difference?  Join Big Brothers Big Sisters on Thursday, August 11 between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.!  The patio will be open and Casa del Tequila (located at 525 N Peters Avenue) will donate 10% of ALL sales to Big Brothers Big Sisters.  You can dine in or carry out!  Big Brothers Big Sisters staff and board will be on hand from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters is excited to partner with Casa del Tequila,” said Tammy Young, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters.  “We’ve teamed up with Edgar and his staff in the past and Big Brothers Big Sisters always wins BIG!  All money raised from this fundraiser, stays locally in Fond du Lac.  Many of the children in our program come from single parent households, living at or below poverty level.  Every dollar we raise makes a BIG difference.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Fond du Lac County is a United Way Agency that assists children with social, emotional and character development through one-to-one mentoring relationships with caring adults.  The agency matches children with a Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple or Big Family in a community or school based program.  Children aged 6 through 13 can enroll in the program through a parent or guardian referral.  Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license for the community based program, 16 years old for the school based program.  For more information about the program or to volunteer, call 920-922-8200 or visit www.bbbsfdl.org.
