Beaver Dam Man Charged For Bank Robbery

Bond has been set at $100,000 cash for a 37-year-old Beaver Dam man suspected of robbing the State Bank of Reeseville in Watertown on July 11th. Adam Raney was charged in Dodge County Court Thursday with armed robbery, bomb scares, and making terrorist threats. According to the criminal complaint he pointed a black handgun at a bank employee and told him the backpack he was leaving behind had a motion detecting bomb in it. The gun was an air soft pistol and the bomb a hoax. The employee recognized Raney. Raney was taken into custody in a Milwaukee hotel where he used some of the money from the robbery to buy heroin and crack cocaine.
